What is FFE Scholarship?
FFE is a non-profit organisation which awards scholarships to young and talented students from financially weak backgrounds so that, they transform their life and excel the generations to come. That’s why Moto of Foundation For Excellence is Nurturing Brilliance – Transforming Generations.
To award the FEE scholarship, this organisation selects talented and gifted students who are promising to rise above the rest. FFE scholarship is a wave of hope in the life of penurious students. It brings positivity to despaired students and helps to set up their life on the path to prosperity.
FFE and AWOO (A World Of Opportunity) jointly run this program. This organisation receives donations from India and US. Many philanthropists and companies donate to this organisation so that the maximum number of scholarships is awarded.
No matter whatever the applicant’s caste, religion, community or gender, they are eligible for the scholarship if they have good academic performance and belong to the low family income group.
The student who is selected for the scholarship will receive financial help in the form of a scholarship till they complete their graduation. The scholarship is renewable every year until student earned their graduation degree. Every year scholarships will be processed before the 31st of march and the amount of the scholarship will be credited to the account of the beneficiary student.
The student who wants to pursue B.E/B.Tech courses they need to give JEE Mains and JEE Advanced entrance exams. The ranking in this exam is an eligible factor for getting this scholarship. Likewise, the student who wants to pursue MBBS will have to appear in the NEET entrance exam. And a student who wants to pursue a LAW degree will have to appear in the CLAT entrance exam.
FFE Scholarship Eligibility:
A student who wants to pursue professional degree courses like B.E, B.Tech, MBBS, B.Pharm, LLB and integrated M.Tech are eligible for the FFE scholarship.
The students who are in the first year of their degree course are only eligible to apply, other students who have not availed of FFE scholarship in the first year and are in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of their degree course are not eligible to apply to the FFE scholarship.
The students who want to apply are expected to pass their HSC or 10+2 board exam within the last 2 years.
The admission of the student who wants to apply for the scholarship should be based on a merit basis through a counselling process rather than admission through a management quota.
The student who wants to join NITs or institutes where admission is based on JEE Mains should get a rank under 90,000. The students who are joining IIT should get a rank in JEE Advanced under 20,000.
The student who wants to pursue the MBBS course should obtain a rank under 40,000 in the NEET exam.
The students who obtain a ranking under 3000 in the CLAT exam are eligible for a scholarship to pursue 5 years integrated LAW course.
The overall family income of the student should be less than Rs. 3.00 lakh per annum. The organisation also consider the education and background of the family while selecting a student for the scholarship.
How to Apply for FFE Scholarship?
The student will have to fill out the online application form on the FFE website. If a candidate is selected for the scholarship then they will be notified by the organisation.
The candidate should be ready with the following documents.
- Marksheet of 10th and 12th
- Bonafide Certificate from college where the student is admitted
- Rank certificate of entrance exam
- Counselling letter for seat allotment
- Family income certificate or Income Tax Return form of parents
- Tuition/Hostel/Mess paid Receipts
- Statement of Estimated Expenses from college
- Bank passbook copy
- Scanned copy of AADHAAR
